Meet Your Consultant:

Crystalyn Thomas-Davis

I am an education consultant with almost 15 years of teaching and coaching experience. Luckily for me, this love for teaching has allowed me to do great work both inside and outside of the U.S. Through the Fulbright and Gilman Scholar programs, I have been able to teach and conduct independent studies in countries like Ghana and South Korea.  As a national board certified teacher, I have been able to work with universities and school districts to increase national board certification among teachers of color.

I hold a Master of Arts in Education from Johns Hopkins University and I serve as an adjunct professor at a local college, where I help train preservice teachers.  I have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach and stress the use of positive discipline techniques in the classroom.  In addition to my teaching experience, I have also worked as a curriculum writer multiple times and served as a coach for new teachers.

Work With Me

When I am not working with amazing instructors, I am binging old episodes of Frasier, decorating (and redecorating) rooms in my house, and listening to r&b music.
